One of your clients is currently looking for a 3-month unpaid internship in architechture in the area of Vancouver, starting on 21. January 2008.

The intern’s name is Alev Gultekin. She graduated from Trakya University of Architecture (Turkey) in 1999. Since then she was working as a project coordinator and an architect. She has very good CAD skills (2D and 3D) as well as strong customer service and sales skills.

Position as an Office/Marketing Assistant available

A Real Estate office in downtown Vancouver is looking for one or two assistants with stengths in computer skills. The students will be doing some data entry as well as placing adds on the internet for various development projects. 

 

Job Description:

• ideally working hours would be 4 hours a day 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
• advanced computer skills required, specifically database building and maintenance and the ability to post adds on websites
• ideally someone who has an interest in the Real Estate Market and wants to improve the English speaking skills
• compensation would be considered based on a percentage of sales resulting from their work

An immigration consulting company provides immigrantion consultation services to Chinese and Japanese clients. Recently, the company got a number of phone calls from Korean clients who seek for immigration services. For an better service and communication the company wants to hire a Korean internship student who can work as a marketing assistant at the company.

Job Description:

1. Answering phone calls from Korean clients regarding immigration and visa issues;

2. Creating advertisements for Korean newspaper, magazines or websites;

3. Developing business relationship with differrent agents, such as schools or student agencies;

4. Assist immigration consultant to counsel Korean clients;

5. Other office duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

1. Speak fluent English and Korean;

2. Previous work experience in marketing;

Visa für Kanada

An alle die vorhaben ein Praktikum in Kanada zu abslovieren oder nach Kanada zu reisen und nebenher ein bißchen zu jobben, ab Dienstag gibt es wieder die Möglichkeit dazu. Die neuen Visavorschriften für Kanada sind jetzt online!!!

Die Anträge werden ab 11. Dezember 2007 entgegen genommen.
Neu hinzugekommen ist eine Gebühr von EUR 102 (bzw. CAD 150), die per Überweisung an die Deutsche Botschaft bezahlt werden muss.  Dem Antrag muß ein Nachweis über die geleistete Zahlung beiliegen. Die Anträge könner nur per Post an die Kanadische Botschaft in Berlin geschickt werden. Zusätzlich bestehen weiterhin die folgenden Kriterien.

Alle Antragsteller müssen die folgenden Kriterien erfüllen:
Sie:

• sind deutsche Staatsbürger;
• sind zwischen 18 und 35 Jahre alt (der Antrag muss an oder nach dem 18. Geburtstag und vor dem 36. Geburtstag bei der Botschaft von Kanada eingehen. Es gilt das Datum des Eingangsstempels);
• haben ihren Wohnsitz in Deutschland;
• werden nicht von unterhaltsberechtigten Familienangehörigen (Ehepartner, Lebensgefährte oder Kindern) begleitet;
• verfügen über ausreichend finanzielle Mittel um ihren Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten;
• sind nicht strafrechtlich verurteilt worden;
• sind gesund;
• sind im Besitz eines gültigen Reisepasses und eines Rückflugtickets;
• verfügen über eine umfassende Haftpflicht- und Krankenversicherung für die gesamte Dauer des Aufenthalts.

Man kann insgesamt zweimal an den Programmen teilnehmen. Man kann jedoch nicht zweimal dieselbe Art von Arbeitserlaubnis beantragen und es muss eine Unterbrechung des Aufenthalts zwischen den beiden Programmen liegen.

Banquet Server Program

Through the BSP, 8 young students from Japan and Korean got trained to become a professional banquet server. They followed a 4 days intensive training with a 25 years experienced professional banquet server trainer.
